Established in Elmwood Place in 1863, Cordes Lumber began with the Cordes family, originally architects and builders who shaped much of Cincinnati’s early neighborhoods. Before opening their lumberyard, they designed and built more than 40 homes still standing today in Wyoming, Ohio, each reflecting the craftsmanship and materials that came directly from their own hands.

Remaining in the same Elmwood location for over 160 years, Cordes Lumber has grown alongside the city while preserving its enduring tradition of quality and craftsmanship.
